Student Treasury Analyst

As a Student Treasury Analyst at Nitor Energy, you’ll support the Treasury team in managing liquidity, cash flow and financial risk across the company. You’ll work hands-on with cash flow models, FX exposure and reporting, and collaborate closely with the finance team and front office to help optimise capital usage and financial processes.

This is a student position with real responsibility and exposure to core treasury activities in a fast-moving energy trading environment. You will contribute to building models, reports and tools that support daily decision-making, while developing a strong understanding of how treasury interacts with trading, risk and finance. We’re looking for a student who is structured, curious and willing to challenge existing ways of working.

Your tasks will include

• Forecast short-term liquidity and support cash flow optimisation by maintaining an overview of current and future capital needs through cash flow models
• Support financial risk management activities, including FX hedging and portfolio management, and contribute to building and maintaining models for monitoring and forecasting FX exposure
• Provide analytical input to positioning strategies for front office teams to help optimise capital usage
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards and tools to automate treasury processes and improve transparency
• Facilitate weekly and monthly reporting for banks and internal stakeholders
• Assist the team with ad hoc treasury and middle-office related tasks

What we’re looking for 

• Ideally, you’re in the final year of your Bachelor’s degree and expect to continue with a Master’s degree, and you’re able to work approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility around classes and exams
• You have strong financial analysis and project management skills
• You have an interest in financial markets
• Experience with SQL, Power BI or other programming tools is considered an advantage
• You’re structured, detail-oriented and comfortable working with data
• You’re a strong team player and have an executing mindset, meaning you are willing to go the extra mile and take on responsibility
