Student IT Supporter

In this role, you will provide daily support to a great bunch of tech-savvy users, ensuring their IT needs are met efficiently and effectively. As a Student IT Supporter at Nitor Energy, you will have a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with various technologies in a dynamic and fast-paced company. This is a great chance to combine your academic knowledge with practical experience, allowing you to develop a broad skill set and gain expertise in this field.

Your tasks will include

• Provide daily IT support to users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
• Help with ad hoc user management including permission adjustments and troubleshooting access issues
• Enroll and set up PCs for new users, ensuring all necessary software and configurations are in place
• Assist with the maintenance and management of IT equipment and inventory
• Help maintain and update IT documentation and user guides
• Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives
• Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT tools and best practices
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify and address potential IT improvements

What we’re looking for

• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking
• Ideally, you are attending studies at a relevant education within Computer Science, data technician or IT support
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing personality with a positive mindset, not afraid to take on any problem
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
