Quantitative Analyst Forward Power

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with traders to develop and improve quantitative models, analytics and decision-support tools across forward power markets. You’ll work hands-on with data and production-grade code, contributing throughout the full lifecycle from idea to live implementation in trading.

Your tasks will include

• Work closely with traders to develop and refine quantitative models that support profitable trading strategies
• Help build and develop stack models for CWE markets
• Continuously seek improvements to workflows, analytics, risk tools, and business processes
• Conduct ad hoc quick analysis to support trading, risk, and commercial decision-making
• Design, develop, and maintain analytic and operational views used for monitoring strategies and market dynamics for trading
• Support the development and maintenance of Python-based models
• Contribute directly to advancing and scaling our data infrastructure

What we expect

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantitative Analyst, preferably within Forward Power or Day-Ahead
• Hold a Master within a quantitative field
• You have strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• You have great Python knowledge and an eagerness to code. Experience with other code languages is considered an advantage
• You’re a strong team player with a pragmatic, execution-focused mindset
• You’re driven, take ownership, and are willing to challenge the status quo to create impact
