Junior Financial Controller

We are looking for a proactive and curious Junior Financial Controller to join our finance and accounting team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will take ownership of recurring financial operations, work closely with colleagues across the business, and grow into a broader role as part of our continued journey.

Your responsibilities will include

• Ownership of recurring financial operations, including reconciliations, invoice processing and payment management
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in Finance & Accounting and other business teams, including coordination with internal stakeholders and, occasionally, external parties
• Preparing financial reports and statements with a high level of accuracy
• Contributing with ideas for process and system improvements, and supporting their implementation
• Building your understanding of our financial systems and data to troubleshoot and improve your own work
• Performing ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance and Accounting team

What we’re looking for

• Some prior experience from a finance-related role (e.g. as a student assistant or intern) is an advantage but not a requirement
• A completed relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Business Administration); a master’s degree is an advantage but not a requirement
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks, while knowing when to ask for sparring or escalate
• A structured approach with strong prioritization skills to manage a growing task portfolio without compromising quality
• A true team player with excellent communication skills
• Basic understanding of or interest in working with different systems (ERP and own builed systems)
