We’re looking for someone with strong technical fundamentals – but even more importantly, the drive to continuously improve and create better solutions. We care less about years of experience and more about how you think, learn, and approach problems.

What you’ll be doing

As a Software Developer at Nitor Energy, you will work closely with traders, analysts, and other developers to build and improve the systems that power our trading. There are no middlemen or translation layers, and you will work directly with the people using what you build.

• Developing internal trading platforms and tools
• Fetch and process market data from external vendors
• Building new features in close collaboration with traders and analysts
• Identifying inefficiencies, challenging bottlenecks and proactively improving systems and workflows
• Ensuring high performance and reliability across critical systems
• You’ll work with technologies such as:
  • C# (.NET, ASP.NET Core) – the backbone of our systems
  • React and TypeScript – for our frontend solutions
  • Microsoft SQL – to handle large volumes of data
  • Microsoft Azure – our cloud platform
  • Python – when it makes sense for modeling and analysis

What we’re looking for

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
• Strong technical fundamentals
• A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and execution
• The ability to take ownership and follow through on tasks
• Motivation to learn and develop within a complex domain
